While all of us here in Maine are suffering from this winter’s record cold temperatures and more snow than perhaps we’d like, our hearts and souls look forward to warmer days of summer, the evening sunlight through the trees, the colors of our beautiful raised-bed gardens, and the lawn games we’ll be playing again. As warmer weather approaches and we gear up for this year’s wedding season, we’d like to share a video of a large festive wedding last summer in our beautiful 103’ sailcloth tent on one of Maine’s beautiful summer outdoor evenings.
Sailcloth Tent
The Tent at Hardy Farm sits nestled into a beautiful wooded setting, only steps from our Woodland Chapel and overlooking the Rustic Whitewashed Barn. We have a wooden footbridge that leads wedding guests, the wedding party, and most importantly, the bride and groom from saying “I Do” at the Woodland Chapel to saying “Let’s Dance!” in the Sailcloth Tent! It’s all about making an entrance, and that’s exactly what you can do as Mr. and Mrs.
There’s ample room for a dance floor or lounge to occupy the space that your chairs and tables don’t use. Avoid the hassle of trying to find a tent company and facilitating delivery, set-up, and tear-down. At Hardy Farm, we help you check one more thing off your “To-Do” list and add it to your “Done” list

The couple arranged for a bagpiper to greet their guests as they arrived for their mid-August wedding. After a stunning pastel-toned ceremony in our woodland chapel and cocktails on our stone patio, they took full advantage of the balmy evening to host their dinner and entire reception in our gorgeous tent. Their event included a generous dance floor and lovely décor that nicely complimented the new mossy green flooring.
Use of our sailcloth tent is included at no additional charge in our venue cost,
