Hardy Farm began hosting weddings in 2013 and shortly afterward we met Jaime Melfi, the creative force behind Autumn Nomad. At the time, Jaime was already gaining recognition for her exceptional design aesthetic and uniquely artistic wedding cakes. Her creations were soon featured in national wedding publications including Brides and Martha Stewart Weddings.

 


Over the years, Jaime expanded her offerings beyond cakes to include fully styled dessert tables and presentations that were truly works of art. She also became known for her creative cocktail mixology and her distinctive mobile bar trailer, adding another layer of style and experience to wedding celebrations.



In 2024, Autumn Nomad Events was officially launched when Jaime unveiled her vision for a full-scale wedding weekend experience at Hardy Farm. Using Hardy Farm’s whitewashed barn as the perfect backdrop for her signature aesthetic, Jaime created an exotic and immersive wedding reception and dinner party concept that could range from an intimate gathering to a large-scale celebration beneath Hardy Farm’s 103-foot sailcloth tent.

 


Alongside her creative food styling, Jaime showcased beautifully crafted and artistic cocktails that complemented the overall event design. Her ability to seamlessly combine furniture and décor rentals, draping, floral styling, food presentation, and signature cocktails makes Autumn Nomad Events an exceptional choice for an all-inclusive wedding weekend at Hardy Farm, whether it be small and intimate or a large gala production. From event planning and floral design to cocktails, reception dinners, and Sunday brunch, Jaime and Autumn Nomad Events offer a truly one-of-a-kind wedding experience. We are excited to host many Autumn Nomad Events celebrations this season and in the seasons ahead.
