Many times, when we tell people people we are located in Fryeburg, ME, they say “oh, I’ve been there. We go to the Fryeburg Fair every year!” As one of Maine’s top agricultural fairs, it is a great place to see what our community has been up to over the past year, catch up with friends and neighbors and generally have a great time.
This year’s Fryeburg Fair was a huge success and a lot of fun. Over 30,000 people attended the fair over the weekend to see the activities and competitions like the skillet throw, the chainsaw competition, the log roll and the ax throwing contest. Hundreds of prize winning animals were shown and farmers from across the region showed off their produce. And the games, rides and music keep everyone smiling. But nothing compares to the food. The homemade pies and fresh meals and the classic fair treats make this the best place to find delicious foods of all kinds.
