This unpredictability can make it difficult to plan your wedding. But don’t worry! No matter what the weather is on your big day, we can adjust our property and barn conditions to make your guests comfortable.
Hardy Farm Grounds
The property itself offers flexibility when choosing an outdoor or indoor ceremony. Couples who choose to host their ceremony in our gazebo or newly designed Woodland Chapel may decide to make last minute changes to accommodate rain or wind. It is hardly an inconvenience to relocate the ceremony to the barn or even our brand new Sail Cloth Tent!
For couples planning to host a traditional Maine barn reception during the summer, we are one of the only barns to offer air conditioning in our space. This will keep your family and friends happy throughout the entire reception, and everyone can celebrate comfortably through the hot day and balmy Maine nights. As stated above, Hardy Farm now also offers use of our beautiful Sail Cloth Tent for ceremonies, receptions or rehearsal dinners. The tent can accommodate up to 150 guests!
Winter weddings in Maine are absolutely stunning. We can easily host your ceremony and reception in our well-heated barn. We have carefully renovated the barn space to maintain the rustic elegance of the traditional 17th century Maine farmstead, but with the modern amenities to make your special day comfortable for all your guests, and you!
