“August weddings at Hardy Farm this season were for the most part sunny-day affairs, not calling for too many potentially rainy day weddings. This past weekend was the exception and would have proved to be a challenge without a weather contingency plan. As we do with all Hardy Farm couples, a solid rain plan had already been made with the barn being converted to a ceremony space and floral displays by Hannah Guilford re-positioned from the Woodland Chapel inside to our beautiful whitewashed barn. Shortly after the ceremony concluded the threatening skies opened up and cocktail hour was also quickly moved from our stone patio into the tent where a bar had already been set up. Other than the passing storm the day continued to ‘Plan B’ and was a beautiful, stress-free event.”
