Tell us a little bit about you & your business.
I’m a former radio disc jockey on Portland stations WBLM, WJBQ and WMGX. I’ve been a wedding DJ for 39 years. My sons, Joe and James, are also part of the business. I have an additional 16 DJs available at all price points and experience levels. We’ve been in business since 1976.
What makes your business different?
We are focused on providing our clients with detailed attention to all of the specifics of their wedding. We can take care of ceremonies and cocktail hours in addition to the reception. We carry liability insurance and always bring back up equipment. Dionne entertainment is a member of The National Association Of Mobile Entertainers and The Maine Disc Jockey Network.
Why do you like working at Hardy Farm?
It’s a beautiful, rustic Maine location. Very intimate too. Setting up equipment in various locations on the property (indoors and outdoors) gives the wedding a broad appeal, whether you’re chatting outdoors, eating or drinking on the lawn and of course dancing in the barn. The property is well maintained and the electrical service is perfect for the various equipment set-ups we use.
