Get to know our friend, Siobbhan Bogle, the eye behind the lens of The Maine Tinker Photography and The Maine Photo Camper. She will be one of the amazing vendors at the Maine Wedding Showcase on Sunday, July 31st.
Tell us a little bit about you & your business.
I’m a mother of two beautiful children and a wife to a super handy man Geoff. I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer and a special education teacher. We live in the beautiful state of Maine and we love to be busy. I have always loved to create. My grandfather called me his little tinker, a reference to travelers in Ireland known for fixing things and selling their arts and crafts out of trailers and caravans/campers.. Through these beautiful events I often ran photo booths, or worked with other wonderful photobooth vendors. Then it dawned on me! Why not bring the “tinker” to reality and create a Photo Booth camper. My husband and I gutted the whole camper it is a 100% DIY camper out and created a funky traveling studio/photo booth and we think it is a blast! It is perfect for weddings or other celebrations and events.We are a husband and wife all inclusive photo team combining Maine Tinker Photography and our sweet little 1968 vintage teal and white Franklin Camper named Lucy.
What makes your business different?
We put a spin on the traditional photo booth which is always party favorite. We are New England’s only mobile photo booth! We arrive in style in our camper (Lucy) and have custom options for ever couple. We even have record player/MP3 player in the camper which people love. Lucy is a one of a kind experience for you wedding, party or corporate event. The booth comes with a wide array of backdrops and props, but we love customizing backdrops and props to the vision of your event. We believe in creating a quality, high-end photo booth experience. We have unique prop sets, instead of “box of junk,”and we truly believe in quality vs. quantity for Lucy. From antique phones, and cameras to a “Maine” theme, “Sailor” and “lobstermen” theme. As always everything is customizable . We love hunting for the perfect props for your special event. We love working closely with our clients to provide a one of a kind experience for everyone! We have many different packages to choose from, including options of print strips, just digital downloads and guests albums etc.
Why do you like working at Hardy Farm?
The location is great, it is easy to access and the property is amazing! I love that there is a getting ready location, tent, ceremony site and barn all in one. Especially a white washed barn, which is a photographers dream!
