Maine Wedding Showcase_UFFTreat your guests to unique libations from Urban Farm Fermentory. Here’s a taste of what these beverage pros have to offer. Don’t miss meeting them in person at the Maine Wedding Showcase on July 31st!

Tell us a little bit about you & your business.

The Urban Farm Fermentory is an experimental fermentation warehouse located at 200 Anderson St. in the East Bayside neighborhood of Portland, ME. We host community driven events and serve a wide variety of kombucha, cider, beer, and mead flavored with local herbs, roots, and flowers. In addition to fermenting these different products in our space we have a tasting room where you can sample our wares, chat about fermentation, play lawn games, and view local art.

What makes your business different?

To start, ‘fermentory’ is not officially a word. We needed to come up with the word fermentory to describe all the different ferments we make within our space. In addition to our unique name, we also wild forage a majority of the goods that flavor our kombucha, cider, mead, and beer right here in Maine.

Why do you like working at Hardy Farm?

Our aim has always been to work with other Maine businesses, especially those that introduce the public to Maine farm culture. Hardy Farm, in all of its rustic beauty, is a premiere location and partner of the Urban Farm Fermentory!
