We recently posted about our new relationship with Shawnee Peak that featured a shot of a mountaintop wedding.
While the idea of broadening our offerings to include mountaintop ceremonies or rehearsal dinners through our new partnership with Shawnee Peak, the logistics of quickly putting together such of a shoot proved to be a bit of a challenge. We’d like to thank our daughter Tiffany (the bride) for her vision and organizational efforts, Shawnee Peak for facilitating everything, and Anne Skidmore, one of our favorite photographers, for giving us time for the shoot during a busy wedding season.
Where did we get the models? In addition to Tiffany, we featured her husband (of 16 years) and their children, Finn and Fiona, 9 and 4. We also drafted three of our helpers at Hardy Farm for groomsmen and Tiffany’s friends to be bridesmaids as well as Deborah’s trainer! Quite an attractive wedding party if we say so ourselves! The officiant was also a close family friend!
While the prospect of a mountaintop ceremony sounds wonderfully romantic as well as dramatic, it was fun taking the flowers and the arbor up by chairlift to be assembled and arranged at the top.
