Over the years, we’ve had the joy of working with so many creative, passionate vendors at Hardy Farm—and few have left as sweet an impression (literally!) as Autumn Nomad. What began as a boutique bakery known for its artistic, handmade, custom specialty wedding cakes, cupcakes and cookies has grown into something even more exciting: Autumn Nomad Events, a full-service event planning, styling and catering business designed to help couples bring their wedding visions to life. 

Led by the incredibly talented Jaime Melfi, Autumn Nomad has always been about artistry, imagination, and intentional detail. Jaime is a cake artist, wedding coordinator, food stylist, mixologist, designer and chef.  After years of delighting couples with her stunning, custom cakes and getting frequent requests for help beyond the dessert table, Jaime expanded her offerings to include wedding design, styling, and planning services. Today, Autumn Nomad Events creates bespoke, ethereal, and artistic high-end experiences that transform every celebration into a work of art.  Jaime brings her signature aesthetic to weddings all over New England.

As Autumn Nomad Events has evolved, Jaime has added an exciting new layer to her services: creative culinary design. She is now offering a diverse, seasonal, and inspired menu for small weddings, micro weddings, and private events. These menus go far beyond traditional fare—they are curated to reflect each couple’s personality, preferences, and love story. From intimate plated dinners with foraged ingredients to stylish cocktail hours with curated bites and hand-crafted signature drinks, every element is infused with creativity, local flavor, and Jaime’s distinctive artistic flair.  She strives to offer high-quality food, drinks and desserts that suit every style and budget.

Whether she’s designing the tablescape and the table menu, planning every detail of the event, or preparing a delicious and memorable assortment of food and drinks, Autumn Nomad Events offers couples something rare—a cohesive, full-experience wedding design that blends food, style, and story into one beautiful event. Jaime’s approach to catering is rooted in the same values that inspired her cake artistry: thoughtfulness, beauty, and a touch of the unexpected.

Recently, Jaime brought her creative vision to life right here at Hardy Farm with an opulent inspiration shoot, “Ethereal Nomad,” that highlighted everything we love about creative and artistic event design. The event featured a collaborative group of standout vendors and entertainers, transforming the property into an immersive experience of color, movement, texture, and heart. From luxe tablescapes to fire dancing and live music, it was an incredible moment to witness—and a perfect showcase of what Autumn Nomad Events is all about!  We were honored that Jaime chose Hardy Farm as the backdrop for this debut event. And, we loved seeing our barn transformed into an incredible “ethereal” space!!!  Check out the amazing photos.
