Lawn Games for Laid-Back Laughs

There’s nothing like the sound of guests cheering over a friendly game of cornhole or giant Jenga during cocktail hour. Our spacious lawn areas provide the perfect setup for classic outdoor games that get everyone mingling and enjoying the fresh mountain air. From ladder toss to bocce and even wedding-themed trivia, lawn games are a low-key way to keep the energy up between events.

Show-Stopping Performances

Some couples go all in on the “wow” factor—and we’re here for it. Our Ethereal Nomad inspiration shoot showcased just how spectacular things can get with live performances, including fire dancers, hula hoop artists, and circus-style entertainers. It’s unexpected, it’s bold, and it completely transforms the energy of your reception. Whether you hire a professional troupe or surprise guests with a choreographed number, performances like these make for unforgettable memories.

DIY Stations for Guests (and Kids!)

Interactive stations give guests a chance to create something meaningful—and have fun doing it. One of the more memorable ideas we’ve seen was a  DIY flower crown bar, where guests (especially the kids!) can craft their own wearable blooms. Other ideas include build-your-own trail mix, seed-packet favors, or even custom candle pouring. These stations double as both entertainment and take-home gifts.

Celebrate Your Heritage or Culture with Traditional Games & Rituals

Many couples are incorporating heritage-inspired elements to make their wedding feel even more personal. From a folkloric dance performed by family members to traditional toasts or attire, these moments are powerful and joyful. A favorite we’ve seen recently? The German tradition of log sawing at the ceremony, symbolizing the couple’s ability to work together. And for a bit of raucous fun, Hammerschlagen—a drinking game that involves hammering nails into a log—has made appearances at a few of our more adventurous receptions.
